India Gate is counted among the largest war memorials in India. It was built in the memory of 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I. Next you will see the Agrasen ki Baoli, which lies in the middle of the business towers and residential apartments of the Colonial-era Connaught Place.
